Mahle Introduces New Condenser To Enable Faster EV Charging

Mahle has developed a new type of condenser that has been designed specifically for hybrid and electric vehicles (EV) that helps to accelerate traction battery charging. This new design offers significantly higher power density than the current one, the company noted. As part of the cooling system, the condenser is a component that ensures the battery is optimally cooled during fast charging and reliably protected against damage. The new Ozonepro condenser is also said to provide sufficient cooling capacity for a comfortable temperature in the cabin without taking up additional installation space. READ MORE…


BMW Motorrad Announces Upgrades for Model Year 2021

BMW Motorrad’s model year 2021 line-up will feature a host of styling and equipment upgrades to be effective after August 2020 in gradual phases. The R 1250 series will see new colour options and the ABS disengage capability has been dropped. More optional equipment includes driving modes pro with engine drag torque control, option 719 milled parts and HP silencer replaced by sports silencer. Vitesco Technologies and Padmini VNA Mechatronics have signed a joint venture partnership while setting up a new company called "PV Clean Mobility Technologies" that will offer selected BS 6 compliant powertrain technologies for the Indian market. ABB India Opens New Robotics Solutions Delivery Facility

ABB India’s new Nelamangala factory in Bengaluru will enable the company to provide robotic solutions to a variety of industries, including automotive, f&b, electronics, and other upcoming sectors. Spread across an area over 3,600 sqm, the facility has a state-of-the-art shop floor capable of running proof of concepts and factory acceptance tests for 1,000 ABB robots every year. The facility also has a demonstration centre where the latest technologies in robotic welding, gluing and material handling will be showcased and can be used to carry out joint prove-out sessions with customers.
