Developing Vehicle Functions By Means Of Rapid Control Prototyping

In the case of rapid control prototyping, simulations as well as real test bench trials with the same dynamic characteristics are used for functional development. At the University of Kassel, it was examined how rapid test prototyping can reduce test bench time while at the same time provide an improved understanding of the system. Due to the simulation environment, the system behaviour can be analysed comprehensively, tested efficiently, and ultimately validated on the test bed in this model-based function development process.
