AMW Motorcycles has launched four new motorcycles of Chinese manufacturer CFmoto, with prices for the entry-level 300Nk starting at Rs 2.29 lakh, ex-showroom. The other three motorcycles are all 650 cc models that come in the form of 650NK, 650MT and 650GT, which are priced at Rs 3.99 lakh, Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 5.49 lakh, respectively. The CFmoto motorcycles will be available through AMW’s dealer network covering six cities – Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Guwahati.
The CFmoto 300NK features a street fighter design, powered by a 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, Balance Shaft engine that develops maximum power of 33 hp and 20.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine features a Bosch electronic fuel injection system, and is mated to a six-speed transmission. Highlight features of the motorcycle include dual riding modes, dual-channel ABS, TFT colour display and full-LED lighting.
The 650NK is the street fighter version of the 650cc motorcycle, while the 650MT and 650GT are adventure tourer and sports tourer variants, respectively. All three feature the same 649.3cc, in-line twin cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine with Bosch EFI and six-speed transmissions, albeit in different states of tune. The CFmoto 650NK puts out 60 hp of power, with 56 Nm of peak torque, while the 650GT is slightly higher with max power of 62 hp and 58.5 Nm of torque. The most powerful tune has been accorded to the 650MT, which delivers a power of 70 hp, along with a maximum torque rating of 62 Nm.
The street fighter CFmoto 650 NK features full-LED lighting, light weight frame, KYB front and rear shock absorber, Continental dual-channel ABS, RK chain from Japan featuring needle bearing design, and Metzeler tyres. The engine features a semi-dry sump, which is said to enable a flexible riding experience. In addition, the 650GT tourer gets a tall windscreen that is adjustable and TFT instrument display.
Kent Chen, Assistant General Manager, Global Sales, CFmoto, said India is a vast market and in AMW the company has found a perfect partner to make its domestic market foray. The Indian two-wheeler sector has seen tremendous growth and the premium motorcycle market is not only growing but also evolving in consumer tastes and preferences, he added.
