BrightBlu to tender integrated suite of hardware solutions, cloud services and support for EV drivers, as well as owners of charging stations.
Asia Electric, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider and DrivAMP, smart charging technology company, have announced merger of their business operations, to operate under the new brand BrightBlu. With the merger, BrightBlu will be able to achieve significant business synergies through vertical integration, the company noted. It further said the company will offer an integrated suite of hardware solutions, cloud services and support for both EV users, and charging station owners.
Asia Electric was established in 2014, and offers intelligent charging solutions for EVs. The company has been working with Indian OEMs and grid operators to supply charging solutions for the local market. Asia Electric was also part of a public private partnership with the Dutch government to transfer technology and knowledge in the field of electric mobility.
Meanwhile, DrivAMP has been active since 2016, having developed the technologies required for smart charging of EVs in-house. DrivAMP supplied the technology to hardware manufacturers and charge-point operators in India.
