Bajaj Auto Ltd has launched BS6 compliant variants of its Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 150 Twin Disc models at Rs 94,956 and Rs 98,835 respectively (ex-showroom Delhi). The new BS 6 compliant variants of both the motorcycles are Rs 8,998 costlier than the BS 4 variants and will be available in two colours – Black Red and Black Chrome.

The BS 6 compliant Pulsar 150 is powered by a single cylinder four stroke SOHC air cooled engine that puts out 14 Ps of power at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.25 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The motorcycle gets advanced FI system combined with 150cc Twin Spark DTS-i engine that has been developed in house for optimal fuel consumption, claims the company. With a ground clearance of 165 mm, Pulsar 150 also gets telescopic front suspension and twin shock absorber suspension at the rear for a comfortable ride.

Sarang Kanade, President – Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto, said the company will expand its range soon while meeting the stringent BS6 standards.
