Benelli has launched the ABS-equipped version of its popular middleweight sports tourer, TNT 600i in India at a price of Rs 5.73 lakh, on-road Pune. The new model costs Rs 40,000 more than the standard model and comes as its replacement.
Benelli TNT 600i draws its power from a 600 cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that develops a maximum power of 85PS at 11,500rpm with a peak torque of 54.6 Nm coming in at 10,500 rpm via an electronic fuel injection system.
Built on a semi trellis tubular frame, the bike employs inverted forks up front while the rear gets an adjustable offset laydown monoshock. The braking comes with the help of dual 320 mm disc brakes at the front with a 260 mm disc at the rear, which now come coupled with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for better feedback and safety.
The motorcycle comes to India via the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route and will be available at the dealerships by the end of this week. On its way to expansion, the company plans to open 35 dealerships in the country by the end of this year.
