B8 has a top speed of 50 kmph and a range of 78 km, while the A2 goes to 25 kmph and returns 110 km per charge. Both will be available in lithium-ion and lead-acid battery options across five variants
BGAUSS has unveiled two electric scooter models, A2 and B8, with deliveries beginning from the first week of August. The two models, both available in lithium-ion and lead-acid versions, have been released in the premium segment with intuitive/ AI-enabled technology and riding dynamics curated for the Indian market. BGAUSS B8 lead-acid version uses a 1900 watts Bosch bldc motor with a fixed battery of 60V VRLA. Lead-acid takes 7-8 hours to charge the battery from 0-100 percent. Lithium ion variants use a 1900 watts Bosch bldc motor with a removable battery of 1.45KW takes a maximum of 3 hours for a full charge. BGAUSS A2 lead-acid variant uses a 250 watts motor with a fixed battery of 60V VRLA and takes 7-8 hours to charge the battery from 0-100 percent. Lithium-ion also uses a 250 watts motor with a removable battery of 1.29KW and takes a maximum of 2 hours 15 minutes to charge.
Features like a removable battery, anti-theft alarm, anti-theft motor locking, LED Instrumental panel, coloured digital display, DRL’s, keyless start, find your scooter, centralized seat lock, USB charging, reverse assist, side stand sensor and 3 riding modes (Low, Mid, High) along with a mobile app will keep the rider comfortable and informed. IOT feature is available in the technology version.
