BMW Introduces AI Solutions To Raise Paint Shop Quality

BMW Group has applied artificial intelligence at its Munich plant to introduce better precision and control highly sensitive systems in automotive production as it feels there is enormous potential in dust particle analysis. The pilot project in the paint shop by BMW Group’s AI specialists is based on information from numerous sensors and data from surface inspections. Okinawa To Launch 100 % ‘Make in India’ Electric Motorcycle Q3 FY 20-21

Okinawa today announced that its first electric bike- Oki100, is going to be a completely-localised product, promoting the ‘Make in India’ initiative in the Indian electric vehicle segment. The company noted that except for the battery cells, all the components of the upcoming Oki100 will be manufactured in India. The Oki100 will reach a claimed top speed of 100 km/h and have a lithium ion battery base. The electric bike is due to be launched in the third quarter of the financial year 2021-21.
