Continental Introduces ‘RightViu’ Turn Assist System For Commercial Vehicles

Continental has introduced a radar-based turn assist system that can easily be retrofitted by fleet operators on their heavy-duty commercial vehicles fleet. RightViu can be fitted to vehicles, as the radar is installed on the mount of the rear-view mirror, so no holes must be made in the vehicle body. The system uses the existing CAN bus in the vehicle. Citroën Introduces New Tenth Generation C4, ë-C4 Ëlectric

 

Citroën has launched the latest generation of its C4 hatchback, as well as the ë-C4 100 % electric car, continuing its move towards an electrification offensive. In 2020, Citroën goes ëlectric for all with the launch of six electrified vehicles, the company noted. The new C4 is available in petrol and diesel options, while the ë-C4 is a pure electric version. The ë-C4 offers a claimed WLTP cycle range of 350 km, offering 136 hp of power and 260 Nm of torque, leading to a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration in 9.7 seconds in Sport mode. It is claimed to be able to reach a top speed of 150 km/h, which is possible as a result of the 50 kWh electric motor, and high-voltage 400 V Li-Ion battery. It also features regenerative braking, multiple driving modes and 8 years/160,000 km battery warranty for 70 % of its charge capacity.

The launch of the tough new commercial Defender 90 and 110 later this year will restore the Hard Top name to the line-up. Honda Launches Livo 110cc BS 6 PGM-FI With 6 Year Warranty

 

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd has launched the Livo with BS 6 compliant engine in disc and drum variants. Powered by a 110cc HET (Honda Eco Technology) PGM-FI engine, Honda mentions the offset cylinder and use of roller rocker arm reduces frictional losses ensuring smoother power delivery, and enhanced fuel efficiency. The use of ACG starter means the engine starts jolt free and eliminates the need for a conventional starter motor as the same AC generator is used to produce current and charge the battery.
