Cummins, NPROXX to Establish Joint Venture for Hydrogen Storage Solutions
Cummins Inc. has signed an agreement to form a joint venture with NPROXX, a leader in hydrogen storage and transportation, for hydrogen storage tanks. The joint venture will provide customers with hydrogen and compressed natural gas storage products for both on-highway and rail applications. Cummins has more than 2,000 fuel cell installations across a variety of on and off-highway applications as well as more than 500 electrolyser installations. READ MORE

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has commenced pre-launch bookings for the fifth generation Honda City. Customers can book their sedan from their home through Honda's online sales platform "Honda from Home", alongside HCIL authorized dealership network across the country. The new Honda City is scheduled to be launched in mid-July.
Oxbotica Deepfake Technology to Accelerate Autonomous Development

Apollo Tyres Andhra Pradesh Greenfield Facility Commences Operations
As the first manufactured tyre rolls out, Andhra Pradesh greenfield facility becomes Apollo Tyres’ fifth Indian unit and seventh global manufacturing facility. Chairman, Onkar S Kanwar, Vice Chairman and MD, Neeraj Kanwar, Supervisory Board members along with the entire Senior Management team participated virtually in this momentous occasion. Located in Chinnapanduru village in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh (AP), this facility of Apollo Tyres is spread over 256 acres. The company will invest close to Rs 3800 crores in Phase I of this greenfield facility. While the capacity will be ramped up gradually in the next 12 – 18 months, as the demand improves, by 2022, this plant will have a capacity to produce 15,000 passenger car tyres and 3,000 truck-bus radials per day. With a modular layout, the capacity at this facility can be replicated with minimal engineering efforts and with economies on investments.

East Sussex UK based Jaguar specialist Eagle has launched the highly upgraded E-Type Lightweight. Eagle Lightweight GT development focusses on the analysis of every component and reengineer it with no compromise improvements. The profile is recreated with subtle enhancements to aerodynamics. This includes a deeper rear ramp angle, deeper sills (which also increase chassis stiffness and allow the driver to sit lower, improving headroom and lowering the centre of gravity), and increased screen rake front and rear with bespoke glass. The 4.7l straight-six engine develops 380 BHP of maximum power and a hefty 508 Nm of peak torque. READ MORE
