Hyundai Motor Company has showcased its smart mobility ecosystem model in the lobby of its Seoul headquarters and will remain available until June 12 in order to further communicate its future mobility vision. Sundance Launches Intel-based 3U OpenVPX SBC Module For SWaP Applications
Sundance Multiprocessor Technology Ltd, embedded modules manufacturer, today launched the VF370, an Intel-based 3U OpenVPX single-board computer (SBC) module designed for reduced Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) requirements. The VF370 is available in standard air-cooled and rugged conduction-cooled versions and utilizes the Intel Atom E3900 series of embedded processors combined with Intel’s Cyclone FPGA technology. Porsche Announces Targa as Third Body Variant of New 911 Generation
Porsche 911 Targa 4 and 911 Targa 4S will be following as body variants after Coupe and Cabriolet for the new generation of 911 sports cars. Targa series is instantly recognizable with its automatic roll hoop roof system harking back to the 1965 version. The engine is a 3.0l boxer with different states of tune. 911 Targa 4 will get a 385PS-450Nm version which is capable of zero to 100kmph in 4.2sec with the optional Sport Chrono pack, to a top speed of 289kmph. 911 Targa 4S will get the 450PS-530Nm output which is capable of naught to 100kmph time in 3.6sec towards a top speed of 304kmph. Fiat Chrysler and Tata Motors Joint Venture Plant Resumes Production
Ranjangaon situated Fiat India Automobiles Pvt Ltd (FIAPL), manufacturing JV between Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India and Tata Motors Ltd (TML), restarts with strict safety protocols in place. A comprehensive safety layout will protect more than 3000 direct and indirect workers from the spread of COVID-19 virus. All employees and visitors at the plant have go through a temperature check before entering or exiting the facility or disembarking from transports. Ather Energy Resumes Operations in Chennai and Bengaluru
Observing precaution protocols, Ather Energy has restarted work in Chennai, a week after Bengaluru operations resumed. The experience centres at both locations are now open with limited working hours and a smaller crew to look after customers. R&D centre at Bengaluru is back in operation as well. Health and safety guidelines have to be strictly observed for both employees and customers entering the facility.
