Audi India Launches Q8 Flagship Luxury SUV From Rs 1.33 Crore

Audi India has launched its new flagship luxury SUV Q8, which is priced from Rs 1.33 crore onwards, with the option of a high level of customisation. The Audi Q8 will be imported to India as completely built-up units (CBU), with only 200 units on offer for the market. NEI Acquires Kinex Bearings in Europe

 

National Engineering Industries Ltd (NEI) has announced the acquisition of Kinex bearings through its wholly owned European subsidiary. Headquartered in Slovakia, Kinex Bearings is an international bearing manufacturer with an annual turnover of 60 mn Euro. With this, NEI aims to augment its product portfolio, expand its geographic footprint as well as serve its existing customers better and acquire new customers. Kinex bearings has two production plants in Slovakia - Bytca and Kysucke Nove Mesto and serves diversified industries such as aerospace, railways, industrial segments among others.

Getac To supply Rugged Mobile Solutions to BMW



Getac has been shortlisted by BMW group to supply rugged mobile devices and solutions across its global network. The company would be serving a wide range of applications including R&D, production, warehouse logistics and workshop diagnostics for the German manufacturer. Over the last six years, Getac has been supplying rugged equipment to BMW group for its vehicle and application testing.

In the area of research and development, security and the protection of sensitive data is of paramount importance. Getac has received a large new order from the BMW Group for its S410, V110, F110, A140, UX10 and T800 series rugged notebooks and tablets. According to the company, when using the internal BVIS picking system in logistics, Getac A140’s 14-inch display and optional barcode and RFID readers make recording key data simple and efficient. At the BMW Group, the semi-rugged S410 notebook is being used to perform international vehicle diagnostics. Key features include wireless and wired connectivity for direct access to diagnostic data and rapid vehicle tests.

Pinnacle Industries Limited has joined hands with Phylion Battery Company Ltd to set up an integrated lithium-ion battery assembly facility in Maharashtra, India.
