Lexus Launches First ‘Made in India’ Product ES 300h at Rs 51.90 lakh

In what can be seen as a further commitment to the Indian market, Japanese luxury carmaker Lexus has announced the commencement of local production of its popular premium luxury sedan, the ES 300h, in January 2020.  TVS Apache RR310 BS-VI Launched at Rs 2.4 Lakh in India

 
TVS Motor Company launched the next generation TVS Apache RR310 BS-VI at Rs 2.4 lakh in India. The TVS Apache RR310 BS-VI 2020 motorcycle boasts of race technology features like Throttle-by-Wire technology that electronically connects the throttle grip to the throttle body by replacing a conventional throttle cable. The motorcycle also introduces a state-of-art UI / UX designed interactive 5’’ Vertical TFT Multi-Information Race Computer with Control Cubes, Bluetooth Enabled SmartXonnect and 4 ride modes namely- Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track. These ride modes will allow the rider to choose the performance of the vehicle according to different riding conditions and achieve optimum performance of the engine and ABS system. This allows the rider to experience the benefits of slow-speed crawling, acceleration, fuel economy, braking, safety and stability.

Tata Motors Launches Crowdsourcing Platform ‘TACNet IdeaNation’ 

 

In an attempt to address complex mobility issues, Tata Motors has launched an engaging crowdsourcing platform, TACNet IdeaNation. The platform will empower citizens across the country to put forward problems and challenges which they think are existent or which they personally experience in the nation's mobility ecosystem.

Tata Motors through TACNet IdeaNation is not just inviting people to submit issues and ideas, but also looking at taking their help first in prioritising which one of these should the company work on solving for, and then finally reaching out to innovators and the startup eco-system to help solve for the same.

Mack Trucks Launches Medium-Duty Trucks 

Mack Trucks launched the all-new Mack MD series of medium-duty trucks, adding to its already robust product line-up to reach new customers and applications. The serial production of the Mack MD Series will begin in July 2020. Mack also announced a $13 million investment to establish its Roanoke Valley Operations (RVO), a new manufacturing facility in Roanoke Valley, Virginia, for production of the Mack MD Series. The project will result in the creation of 250 new jobs.

The Mack MD6, a Class 6 model, has a gross vehicle weight rating of 25,995 pounds, and the MD7, a Class 7 model, has a GVWR of 33,000 pounds. These new products will meet the needs of trucking applications requiring dry van/refrigerated, stake/flatbed, dump and tank truck vocations.
