 Tata Motors Upcoming Flagship SUV Christened Tata Gravitas | Launch in February 2020

7:00 PM Tata Motors has officially announced the name of its upcoming flagship SUV as the Tata Gravitas. The company has reported this SUV to launch in February 2020. It will likely be launched at the 2020 Auto Expo next year. The 2020 Tata Gravitas has been built on the OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced) Architecture that was derived from the Land Rover D8 platform. This will be Tata’s second product on the platform.


TVS Apache RTR 4V BS VI Range Launched from Rs 99,950

6:00 PM TVS Motor has launched the latest range of Apache RTR 4V motorcycles with BS VI compliant technology. The company has offered an new engine that comes equipped with a race tuned fuel injection system that comes with a built in GTT (Glide Through Traffic) capability. MG, Exicom Partner To Address Second-Life Use Of EV Batteries

4:00 PM MG Motor India today announced it has partnered with Exicom Tele-Systems for the purpose of re-using batteries following their end of life from the company’s ZS EV car. Under the partnership, Exicom plans to re-deploy MG ZS EV batteries at the end of their life with the car and utilise them for non-automotive applications. Exicom will put the batteries through a controlled process of evaluation, disassembly, and repackaging to design custom battery packs for their second lease on life. READ MORE


Maruti Suzuki Alto Clocks 38 Lakh Sales Milestone

3:00 PM Maruti Suzuki India has achieved 38 lakh sales milestone for its brand Alto. Based on its design, fuel efficiency, easy manouverability as well as affordability, Alto has been among the top-selling cars for over decade and half, stated the company. Maruti Suzuki Alto clocked first 10 lakh sales in just eight years of its launch in year 2000. It just took 11 years for the company to sell the next 28 lakh vehicles. The Alto has been updated by the company at regular intervals to suit the customer demands and has already been upgraded to comply with BS VI emission norms due next year. READ MORE
