EUTECH6 ecosystem is a combination of reliable efficient engine technology combined with Uptime services with 24X7 support.

Eicher has unveiled its entire BS 6 line-up with EUTECH6 solutions platform. The new Eicher range will be equipped with exhaust aftertreatment system (EATS), which has been tested for over 5.6 million kilometers. These trucks will return better fuel efficiency along with lesser exhaust emission. The dual cycle Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) in the exhaust will use automotive grade urea, or Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), adding a stream of fluid to reduce harmful gases. With over six years of experience VECV has made more than 1.2 million units of Euro 6 base engines. The reliability and fuel efficiency of these trucks have been already tried and tested in the field, noted the company.

To further add value, the new Uptime Centre in Pithampur will provide support to its customers. The centre houses a team of technical experts who will be able to provide remote or predictive diagnostic help, and specialised field support to all BS 6 Eicher trucks when needed. This 24X7 service includes on-road service (EOS) across the country, with GPS-enabled service vans available for quick response. Due to varying languages, this special team can provide assistance in Hindi, English, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. New competence development centers and mobile training facilities have been setup to further enhance the systems working. Till now 18 such training centers have been opened, with the addition of Uptime Enablement of other workshops across the network. EUTECH6 as a service not only improves fuel efficiency and reliability of trucks, and reduces environmental pollution, but also increases business productivity by supporting its customers along the way. The entire new range of trucks and buses will be available starting March 2020.
