Gemopai Electric Scooters - a joint venture between Goreen E-Mobility (Delhi-based electricmobility company founded in 2016), and Opai Electric (one of the largest manufacturers of electric two-wheelers in the world) released the first removable lithium ion battery-powered Gemopai Ryder electric scooter for the Indian market.

Gemopai Electric Scooters said it is committed to being a leading electric mobility provider across India and is drawing on 15+ years experience of Opai Electric, who have sold more than 15 million electric 2-wheelers worldwide. Additionally, both entities have signed an MOU for technology transfer and cooperation agreements for further developing electric two-wheeler models for the Indian market. All models of Gemopai Electric Scooters will be manufactured in India at its new manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, the company informed.

The company said the new Gemopai Ryder runs a 70km on a single charge and is available in five colours, and comes with various accessory options for the Indian market. Additional scooter specifications included in Gemopai's mobility options are hydraulic suspensions, disk brakes, digital speedometer, LED headlight, keyless entry, anti-theft alarm and mobile USB charging with little to no service requirement for the expertly developed electric transportation solution. Gemopai Electric Scooters is also engaged in talks with top technical institutes in India to conduct R&D for BMS & Smart Scooter Applications.

Gemopai Electric Scooters has drawn up plans to launch two more high speed electric scooters over the next 3-6 months. The company has already opened a few dealerships in the country and intends to continue expanding with dealerships across India so that so individuals can have access to the green mobility options they desire across India.

Amit Raj Singh, Co-founder & Managing Director, Goreen E-Mobility, said the future will be driven by electric mobility, and the company wants to be at the forefront of it in India, where millions of people have little access to technologically advanced clean energy vehicles.

Singh stated that starting with its technologically advanced lithium-ion battery scooter, the company is going to show India what is possible when a commitment is made to electric mobility.
