Gulf Launches Synthetic Engine Oil for Motorcycles

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd recently launched its new range of synthetic engine oil for new generation motorcycles with engine capacity of 180 cc and above, called Gulf PowerTrac 4T. The new engine oil is available in viscosity grades of 10W-30 and 15W-50, the company noted. The new Gulf PowerTrac 4T synthetic engine oil was launched by MS Dhoni, Captain, Indian Cricket Team.
Standard motorcycle oils are unable to sustain uniform power over a period of time as they degrade and gain viscosity, in turn lowering power, Gulf Oil said. The Gulf PowerTrac 4T is formulated with special ‘PowerRox Molecules’ and premium base oils to prevent degradation of the oil by blocking damage-causing-free-radicals, the company explained.
Ravi Chawla, Managing Director, Gulf Oil Lubricants India, said India is witnessing a surge in demand for 180+ cc motorcycles, and the new synthetic engine oil delivers maximum power for consumers. Gulf PowerTrac 4T is special for Gulf Oil, as it will be the face of the synthetic range of Gulf two-wheeler engine oils, he added.
