Jazz now gets an electric sunroof and a new top spec ZX grade. Will be powered by 1.2l i-VTEC BS 6 compliant engine
Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has launched the new Honda Jazz with a BS 6 compliant engine from Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom). New Jazz will be available with the 1.2l petrol engine in both 5-speed manual and CVT transmission variants. The engine develops 90 PS of maximum power and 110 Nm peak torque. Honda claims the manual version will return 16.6 kmpl, and the CVT variant will be capable of 17.1 kmpl efficiency figure. Jazz now also gets steering mounted paddle shifters to offer some control on the steps of the CVT. But it is a welcome addition as more than 70 percent of Jazz sales can be attributed to the CVT Jazz. New Jazz also gets a new one touch electric sunroof for added comfort.
DIGIPAD 2.0 infotainment offer enhanced connectivity options to the 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Weblink. With the addition of ZX grade, the New Jazz will now be available in 3 feature-packed grades - V, VX and ZX in Petrol in both Manual and CVT variants. Safety features include Standard Dual Front SRS Airbags, ABS with EBD, Multi-View Rear Camera with Guidelines, Rear parking Sensor, Driver Side Window One touch up/down operation with pinch guard, Impact Mitigating Front Head Rests, Immobilizer anti – theft system, Pedestrian Injury mitigation technology amongst others. New Honda Jazz offers complete peace of mind with 3 years Unlimited Kilometres warranty as standard benefit to the customer. Additionally, customers can opt for Extended Warranty for additional two years Unlimited / Limited kilometres for extra peace of mind. The New Jazz now offers competitive cost of maintenance with Service interval of 1 year/ 10,000 km, whichever is earlier, and the 3-year Annual Maintenance Package at the time of car purchase with starting price of Rs 11,670 for three years / 30,000 km, whichever is earlier.
