Available in Drum and Disc variants, prices for the Livo BS 6 start from Rs 69,422 (Drum version, ex-showroom Jaipur)
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd has launched the Livo in BS 6 compliant engine in disc and drum variants. Powered by a 110cc HET (Honda Eco Technology) PGM-FI engine, Honda mentions the offset cylinder and use of roller rocker arm reduces frictional losses ensuring smoother power delivery and enhanced fuel efficiency. The use of ACG starter means the engine starts jolt free and eliminates the need for a conventional starter motor as the same AC generator is used to produce current and charge the battery. Livo comes fitted with rear HET Tyre (Low Rolling Resistance tyre) which has been developed with a new tyre compound technology reducing energy loss while maintaining optimum grip leading to improved fuel efficiency.
Livo now gets DC headlamp and an integrated engine start/stop switch which adds more convenience for the rider. The five-step adjustable rear suspension can be adjusted as per road conditions for a smoother ride. A longer comfortable seat (+17mm) with smooth integration with the fuel tank provides ample space for comfortable long distance travel. It also comes with a seal chain which needs less frequent adjustments and low maintenance. Making every ride on new Livo BSVI comfortable and convenient is the Combi-Brake System (CBS) with equalizer. Livo BSVI dispatches will commence starting this week. There will be available in two variants - Drum & Disc in four stunning colours - Athletic Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic and Black.
