Honda Navi Sales Cross 10,000 Units

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) has announced that its two-wheeled crossover, Navi has crossed the milestone of 10,000 unit sales within two months of its availability. The vehicle was launched at Auto Expo earlier this year, and is currently available for sale at Rs 39,648, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Talking of mechanicals, the Navi gets the same 109 cc engine that does duty on the Activa. Mated to an automatic transmission, the motor develops a power output of 7.8 hp at 7,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 8.96 Nm coming in at 5,500 rpm. It is equipped with 12-inch front and 10-inch rear tyres, and gets 130 mm drum brakes at both ends.
YS Guleria, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, said the company is delighted with the overwhelming response for Navi, especially customers from urban trendsetting youth. He added that the unconventional design, looks and endless possibilities of customisation, make owning a Navi a fantastic experience. “While we celebrate 10,000 units of Navi and expand the Navi phenomenon to new cities, the number of bookings are increasing. Navi is a three-in-one package with the ride feel of a motorcycle, comfort of a scooter and fun of a customised creation,” said Guleria.
