Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has introduced the BS 6 compliant WR-V model for a price range of Rs 8.49 lakhs – Rs 10.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The new WR-V adopts the best of Honda’s powertrains to achieve a perfect balance of performance and fuel economy. The BS6 compliant petrol variant of the new WR-V is powered by 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 90 Ps at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 110 Nm at 4,800 rpm. It has been mated with Honda’s advanced 5-speed manual transmission delivering an impressive fuel efficiency of 16.5 km/l as per test data. Read more

Toyota Introduces New Acceleration Suppression System

Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) has developed a new Acceleration Suppression System that will help in further curbing serious accidents as well as reduce damage caused by misapplication of the accelerator pedal. Toyota has launched this system as ‘Plus Support’ for new cars and added the function in the "Pedal Misapplication Acceleration Control System II" retrofit device for use with existing cars. Toyota introduced Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS) in 2012 for new vehicles and had launched a retrofit ‘Pedal Misapplication Acceleration Control System' for existing vehicles since 2018. Bentley Bentayga Gets New Seats and Increased Rear Legroom

Bentley has revealed the new Bentayga SUV with more technology and added comfort. It is powered by a 4.0l twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine pushing out 550 PS of maximum power and 770 Nm peak torque. The larger matrix grille is now more upright and intelligent LED matrix headlamp technology includes the signature Bentley design inspired by cut crystal glassware. Read more


BGAUSS Unveils B8 and A2 Electric Scooters for India

BGAUSS has unveiled two electric scooter models, A2 and B8, with deliveries beginning from the first week of August. The two models, both available in lithium-ion and lead-acid versions, have been released in the premium segment with intuitive/ AI-enabled technology and riding dynamics curated for the Indian market. BGAUSS B8 lead-acid version uses a 1900 watts Bosch bldc motor with a fixed battery of 60V VRLA. Lead-acid takes 7-8 hours to charge the battery from 0-100 percent. Read more
