Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has announced that Venue, its upcoming SUV will feature Hyundai’s BlueLink Connectivity technology. A global technology for smart, connected vehicles, BlueLink will be introduced in the Indian market with 33 features. Out of which 10 would be India-specific features for a practical and more holistic connectivity with safety and various vehicle management relationship services and herald a new era of smart connected cars in India, stated the company.
Hyundai BlueLink is developed and rigorously tested in India for the customers keeping in mind challenges faced on Indian roads while driving. The SOS (Save Our Souls), roadside assistance and BlueLink button are on the Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM) for easy accessibility. The BlueLink provides first-in-industry safety features like vehicle theft tracking and immobilisation for recovery of stolen vehicles. It will also feature speed alert, geofence alert, panic notification and also remote control functions like engine start/stop, climate control, door lock/unlock, horn honk & light and vehicle status, the company noted.
