ICAT’s 3rd Powertrain Conference Discusses Ways To Meet Industry Requirements

The 3rd Powertrain Technology Conference was recently organised by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) in New Delhi. Industry leaders, research and academic experts across the powertrain space from India as well as across the globe delivered insightful presentations. The speakers at the two-day conference deliberated on the current industry trends, upcoming technologies, strategies and pathways to facilitate product developments meeting stringent timelines, adhering to regulatory compliance while at the same time ensuring the products are competent. These experts also brought to the fore new proposals and solutions to the various challenges faced by the automotive engineers industry across India and abroad.

The conference was attended by speakers from AVL, Honda Cars, MG Motors, IIT Kanpur, Bosch, Cummins, ETAS, Horiba, Maruti Suzuki, LPC, Hero Electric, 22Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, India Oil, Kistler and ECMA.

It may be worth recalling that ICAT) had earlier conducted the inaugural and 2nd Powertrain Technology Conference in 2015 and 2016 – it had successfully organised four workshops on “Workshop on HEV & EV” in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Experts at the conference were hopeful that all these deliberations will help the automotive industry come up with better and efficient mobility solutions, thus paving the way for a cleaner, greener and proficient automotive ecosystems in India.
