The country's three-wheeler electric vehicle space is hotting up with Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited foraying into the mid-speed vehicle segment, rolling out ‘Kinetic Safar Star’ for last mile deliveries. The company claimed that the newest offering from the stable of Kinetic Green has a payload capacity of up to 400 kg and will be available at its 150 dealers across the country.
The Light commercial vehicle (LCV) can run at a maximum speed of 40 kmph and offers a range of 130 km on a single charge - it is powered by a 48V lithium-ion battery with 150 Ah power, Kinetic Green claimed. Further, the vehicle and the battery comes with a three-year warranty.
The company said the vehicle body is well equipped with CED coated all weatherproof paint, long life tubular chassis, two-speed gearbox, CAN base display with the regenerative braking system and front suspension with hydraulic damper.
Kinetic Green stated that within this segment it will provide a wide range of variants, thus offering solutions for every possible delivery application such as last mile delivery for e-commerce companies, FMCG goods delivery from wholesale to retail stores or door-to-door waste collection.
