Lohia Auto Industries has announced that it has begun exporting vehicles out of the country for the first time, beginning with neighbouring Nepal. The company is also launching its petrol autorickshaw in Nepal, and plans to begin exports to other countries.
In additional to entering the Nepal market and introducing the petrol autorickshaw, Lohia Auto has also appointed a distributor. This distributor will further expand the dealer network in Nepal for future expansion and a stronger foot hold. Additionally, as parts of its first petrol three-wheeler launch, the company has introduced passenger and cargo vehicles in the Nepal market.
Ayush Lohia, CEO, Lohia Auto Industries, said the company has made its mark in the Indian market, and has pan-India presence with dealer network across the country. Lohia Auto plans to foray in South East Asia and neighbouring countries to begin with, as these are emerging markets with a lot of potential, he added. Lohia added that the company has started with Nepal, and also launched a petrol vehicle for the first time.
