MTB to launch 18 more BS VI compliant variants of the Furio range of trucks
Mahindra Truck and Bus (MTB) has announced its Blazo range of trucks as the most fuel efficient trucks in the industry. Within three years of launch, the Blazo truck range has been able to garner this distinction for itself and at present is selling for a premium in contrast with other players.
The company has lined up the launch of its BS VI powered models with the schedule on track. Further, MTB is working on simplifying BS VI for its consumers and has reported that nearly 80 % of the components remain similar to the BS IV compliant variants.
MTB has also launched the Blazo X 49 Rigid MAV truck in the 16-wheeler category. The company is also on track with the launch of 18 more variants in the 5 – 18 tonne category of the ICV segment with the recently launched Furio range of trucks.
Further, MTB has announced that it will be setting up its Express North-South Service Corridor on the 3,800 km long Kashmir to Kanyakumari highway, strengthening its after sales network. This express service will comprise of 41 touch points on every 100 kms of highway, with a guaranteed service reach of four hours.
