Mahindra has launched the TUV 300 Plus in the Indian market for Rs 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The SUV is a 9-seater and features a 2.2L mHAWKD120 engine. Mahindra will be offering the SUV to customers in three variants P4, P6 and P8.
Powering the new TUV 300 Plus is a 2.2L turbo diesel engine that produces 120 bhp and 280 nm of torque. The engine in the TUV 300 has been mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The SUV also features a 17.8 cm touch screen infotainment unit with GPS navigation, eco mode, micro hybrid technology, steering mounted controls and brake energy regeneration.
The interiors of this SUV have been designed by renowned design house, Pininfarina. The TUV measures 4400 mm in length, width stands at 1835 mm while height stands at 1812 mm. The SUV also features a large front grille, 215/70 R 16 tyres and a rear wheel drive setup. Mahindra has incorporated a cushion suspension technology on the TUV 300 Plus.
Mahindra has used toughened high strength steel body along with a chassis that has been derived from the Scorpio. The SUV features dual airbags, ABS with EBD and automatic hazard light on in cases of panic braking.
The TUV300 PLUS comes with a toughened high-strength steel body alongwith chassis derived from the Scorpio. It also comes with dual-airbags and ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution. Additionally, the hazard lights also switch on incase of panic braking.
