Mahindra Y400 to be Named Alturas G4


Mahindra has announced the name for its much awaited premium SUV as the Alturas G4. The SUV previously code named Y400 is expected to be launched in India on November 24, 2018. Alongside the name launch, Mahindra has also opened bookings of the Alturas at all its dealerships in India.

The name Alturas means height or pinnacle. The moniker is intended to portray a gateway for those who have touched a pinnacle of success. The SUV is slated to be Mahindra’s most luxurious offering in the market and has been exquisitely designed and crafted.

The Alturas G4 will compete with SUVs that are operating in the range of Rs 30 Lakh (ex-showroom) plus. The SUV is said to features a bold and imposing look with luxurious interiors. Aside the from the posh cabin, Mahindra is said to enhance the appeal with a powerful engine that will cater to thrilling performance as well as off road diving ability.

Mahindra will also be offering the new Alturas G4 with some segment first features. The SUV will roll out of the company’s facility in Chakan, Maharashtra. Here is a link to their website
