Maruti Suzuki India has added more than 200 new service workshops in 2018-19 to its nationwide network. This has been the largest addition to service networks by an automotive OEM in India in a single year. With the new introductions, Maruti Suzuki India has strengthened its service network to 3,634 workshops across 1,789 towns and cities.
In a bid to create a life-long relationship with customers, the company is strengthening its service and workshop network. Recent customer care initiatives include QRT on bikes that reach a breakdown vehicle in a quick time and provide a seamless service experience.
Maruti Suzuki’s QRT services has been rolled out in 250 cities at present. The company has a fleet of over 340 QRT riders that serve nearly 16,000 customers since 2018. The company is also offering a night service facility at select workshops in Gurgaon, Sahibabad, Bengaluru, Mangalore and Bhubaneswar. All communications regarding repair estimates, time to service, etc are informed over SMS to customers.
