Hyundai Introduces Clutch-less Manual Transmission on Venue

Combining the driving engagement of manual gear shift and the convenience of not operating the clutch pedal, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has announced an innovative intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) on the Venue 1.0l turbocharged petrol engine. Reminiscent of the Saab Sensonic from yesteryears, drivers have the ability to slot gears manually without the need to operate the clutch which is done by a hydraulic actuator. This offers a more engaging driving experience without the inconvenience to your left foot.

BMW Opens Largest Pre-Owned Facility in Bengaluru

Strengthening its pre-owned car business in India, BMW Group announces its largest Premium Selection facility in Bengaluru. Navnit Motors will be hosting this facility displaying a range of pre-owned and certified BMW vehicles. Operational since 2011, BMW has 24 BPS facilities in India with a carefully examined range of vehicles. To facilitate customers, every vehicle comes with a full, detailed history of servicing, maintenance, and repairs. Motherson Sumi Board Approves Group Reorganisation Plan

Motherson Sumi Systems (MSSL) as a group will undergo a reorganisation plan in interests of all its stakeholders in order to create a simplified corporate structure for growth of businesses across product portfolios within auto components space and allied operations. The MSSL and Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (SAMIL) board of directors has approved the new plan.

The new plan also entails demerger of Domestic Wiring Harness (“DWH”) business from MSSL into a new company and DWH is in the process of being incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of MSSL. Additionally, there will be subsequent merger of SAMIL into MSSL to consolidate 100 % shareholding in Samvardhana Motherson Automotive Systems Group BV (“SMRP BV”) as well as to bring all auto component and allied businesses in SAMIL under MSSL.
