Nissan has launched a more safety loaded version of its premium hatchback Micra. The car is now being offered with dual airbags, rear parking sensors, speed warning device, speed- sensing door lock, driver seat belt reminder as a standard. Prices for the new Micra start from Rs 5.03 lakh.
The Nissan Micra is available with a choice among two powertrains - a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with X-Tronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) or a 1.5-litre diesel paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car now comes with a 6.2’’ touch screen AVN with phone mirroring and turn indicators on ORVM. NissanConnect - an integrated connected car technology that hosts features like geo-fencing, speed alert, Locate My Car and Share My Car Location will also be bundled to address the rising concerns regarding the safety & security of car.
Hardeep Singh Brar, Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd.has said that Micra will address the needs of Indian consumers for a safer, interactive and a more intelligent driving experience.
