Jaime Ardila joins Ola Electric Board of Directors; Has served for Over 30 years in GM; Is looking to drive the adoption of electric vehicles at scale
Ola Electric Mobility has announced the appointment of Jaime Ardila to the company’s Board of Directors. Ardila a veteran of the automotive industry has spent nearly 30 years at General Motors and led multiple roles across the globe.
The most recent position held by Ardila was as the Executive Vice President and President, South America Operations, GM and being responsible for operations in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. At present he serves as the Chairman of the board of Goldman Sachs BDC Inc, member of the board of Aceenture PLC, Nexa Resources and is the founder of Hawksbill Group, a diversified business and consulting firm.
On his appointment to the board of directors of Ola Electric, Ardila stated that mobility was evolving and going through a global transformation, building solutions to improve air quality and create clean energy that was more accessible.
