Renault will participate in the ‘Driving Europe Forward: The Future of Mobility’ campaign organised by the European Parliament in a bid to promote future mobility solutions.
‘Driving Europe Forward’ seeks to involve Europe’s political decision makers and citizens in the debate about the future of automotive mobility, with the emphasis on electric and autonomous vehicles. Innovation and research is currently being carried out in a big way in both sectors and parliamentarians have started to explore how the necessary modifications to legislation can be implemented by the European community and how it can contribute to the transition. The public is also expected to contribute to this cause.
Renault has been instrumental in spearheading the concept of electric cars in Europe, both for passenger vehicles and in electric motor racing and intends to encourage public involvement in this dialogue. The carmaker will display one of its all-electric Formula E single-seater racing cars during the campaign to illustrate how the industry is adapting to new forms of mobility.
