Revolt Intellicorp Pvt Ltd has unveiled its first product for the Indian market, an AI enabled electric motorcycle - RV400. The company announced its launch in the month of July 2019 and has indicated the development of a series of battery swapping station.
The Revolt RV400 gets remote connectivity features, through an app, and will be offered with two colour options. The company has announced the opening of pre-bookings from June 25,2019 for Rs 1,000 on www.revoltmotors.com and on Amazon.in. The RV400 is set to be launched in seven major cities (NCR, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Chennai) across India over the next four months.
Revolt Intellicorp has stated that they will develop a connected eco-system across cities where riders can swap their batteries at swap stations, that are dynamic stations within the coverage grid of New Delhi. Riders can also charge the battery of their motorcycle in less than four hours by plugging into a 15 Ampere socket. Since the battery is a portable unit, it can easily be removed and plugged in anywhere.
The RV400 has received an ARAI certified bike range of 156 kms. The app which controls many functions of the motorcycle is available for both Android and iOS devices. Further, the company is innovating by offering features such as door-step battery deliver, bike locator, anti-theft feature and sound selection.
