A part of company's Project 2.0 in India, Škoda Auto will have the world the premiere of Vision IN SUV at Auto Expo 2020 in Greater Noida
Škoda has revealed an interior sketch of its new compact Vision IN SUV concept that will make its world premiere on February 5 at the Auto Expo 2020 in Greater Noida. The Škoda Vision IN SUV is the first vehicle to be based on the new localised sub-compact platform of the MQB A0 IN modular transverse matrix, which also forms the inter-brand basis of various Škoda and Volkswagen models.
In developing the model, the Czech manufacturer has explicitly focussed on meeting the requirements of customers in the Indian market. As part of the India 2.0 project, Škoda Auto now manages the activities of the Volkswagen Group brands, represented in the region.
The sketch displays a large, free-standing infotainment system along with the virtual cockpit digital instrumentation. The interior sketch reveals a layered dashboard with a central AC vent, accentuated with the help of a thin chrome bar which spans the length of the dash and connects the large, chrome-lined vents at each end.
A closer look also reveals the presence of knurled scroll wheels placed on the flat-bottom, three-spoke steering wheel, along with buttons for phone controls, voice command, lane assist and cruise control. Positioned centrally on the compact center console is a small gear lever, confirming the presence of an automatic transmission.
