To be priced between Rs 15-17 lakhs, the electric version of Nexon by Tata Motors will be designed with high voltage system, fast charging capability and a range of 300 km to address EV-related issues
Tata Motors has announced that its Nexon electric vehicle will be the first to boast its Ziptron technology and will be launched in Q4 FY19-20 in the personal electric vehicle segment. The Nexon EV, powered by the recently-introduced Ziptron technology, will be introduced in a price bracket of Rs 15-17 lakhs.
Nexon EV will be deployed with a high voltage system, battery and motor with warranty of 8 years, fast charging capability, while adhering to IP67 standards. The new EV by Tata Motors will target a range of 300 km, while addressing range anxiety issues related to EVs.
