Sensing new growth opportunities with Bharat Stage 6 emissions standards, ‘PV Clean Mobility Technologies’ aims to offer enhanced emission reduction technologies designed to specifically meet local customer requirements
Vitesco Technologies and Padmini VNA Mechatronics have signed a joint venture partnership while setting up a new company called "PV Clean Mobility Technologies" that will offer selected BS 6 compliant powertrain technologies for the Indian market. The aim is to create a local supplier for the Indian automotive market by combining strengths and expertise in joint solutions for clean drive systems.
The product range will be focused around sensors and actuators, as well as fuel delivery modules for passenger car, commercial vehicle and two-wheeler-markets. Both partners have a 50 percent share in the joint venture, which will be based in Gurugram, India.
Anurag Garg, head of Vitesco Technologies India, said the company is excited to work with all leading automotive manufacturers in India as their partner of choice through this joint venture.
Kabir Bhandari, Co-owner of Padmini and Padmini board member of the new company, said both companies have a long tradition of producing first-class products and the best quality standards and together will be pursuing the mission of shaping the future of clean mobility.
