Tata Showcases New Tiago, Tigor and Nexon 2020

Tata Motors has announced the opening of bookings for its refreshed product portfolio. The cars featured in this BS VI compliant model list include the Tiago, Tigor, and the Nexon. With this portfolio launch, the company is showcasing a new range of BS-VI products that offer revamped designs schemes, new features and these are likely to be more expensive than predecessors.

Bookings for these models begin at Rs 11,000 at Tata Motors dealerships and on product websites. Nation wide launches of these products will take place later in January 2020.

Hyundai Appoints Pamela Cohn as VP of UAM Division

Hyundai Motor Group has appointed Pamela Cohn as the Vice President - Global Strategy and Operations at its Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Division as the company aims to provide innovative and smart mobility solutions. Hyundai said that UAM industry is about to become an important proponent for an integrated mobility solution to address the ever-increasing traffic congestion in megacities around the world.

Cohn brings with her a team of UAM experts from Ascension Global with extensive experience serving a range of clients across the industry on their  strategy, technology and policy challenges. Hyundai Group displayed a concept personal air vehicle (PAV) model S-A1 that was built in collaboration with Uber Elevate at CES 2020, as Uber and Hyundai agreed to work together in aerial ridesharing filed.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Crosses 5,00,000 Sales Mark

Maruti Suzuki has crossed five lakh sales mark for its compact SUV Vitara Brezza. The car has consistently featured in the top ten highest selling cars in India since its launch in 2016. SIAM Kick Starts 31st National Road Safety Week


The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) kicked off the National Road Safety Week on January 11 in Delhi. The initiative will begin with a ‘Walkathon for Road Safety Awareness’ that will commence at the India gate and conclude at Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. The whole week starting from January 11 to January 17, 2020 will be celebrated as National Road Safety Week, in association with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India (MoRTH) and Delhi Traffic Police. The theme for the Road Safety Week 2020 is ‘Bringing Change Through Youth Power.’
