The newest offering from the Yamaha stable is powered by a dual channel ABS that will go a long way in meeting the upcoming safety regulations. The company said the dual channel anti-lock braking system comes with adjustable fluid pressure, which ensures immediate braking on slippery roads. Besides dual channel ABS, the YZF-R15 V3.0 retains all of its original features like VVA technology and A&S Clutch. Yamaha said the roll-out of the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 gives it a distinction off offering the first motorcycle with dual channel ABS in the 150c segment.
The Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled single cylinder four-valve engine that outputs 19.3PS at 10,000rpm, delivering a torque of 14.7 N.M at 8500 RPM, reflecting a significant rise of 16.3 % in power against its predecessor. Further, its fuel efficiency is also 4.7 % better than the previous bike.
It may be worth recalling that the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 was rolled out at the Auto Expo 2018.
