As Nissan commences the global unveil of the new all-electric Ariya coupe crossover, it is a significant step towards the brand’s overall electrification strategy. The Ariya will open a new chapter for Nissan as a brand and offer an enriching mobility solution to the people. It marks a major step as Nissan refocuses on electrified vehicles and SUV for future markets. The Ariya sets the pace for Nissan’s plan to roll out 12 new models in 18 months. The all-new crossover demonstrates Nissan’s commitment to meeting customer demand for new electrified, autonomous, and connected technologies. The company also aims to introduce autonomous driving technologies in more than 20 models in 20 markets and to have sold more than 1.5 million vehicles equipped with these systems by end of fiscal 2023.
With an estimated range of up to 500 kilometres (based on WLTP combined cycle, subject to homologation), Ariya is the perfect vehicle for daily commutes and road trips alike. Built on an all-new Alliance-developed EV platform, the Ariya is the ultimate expression of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the company's strategy to further improve the appeal of its vehicles and achieve the ultimate goal of a future with zero emissions and zero vehicle fatalities.
